Hi everyone, I would love to see a high-quality Flight Simulator game for iPhone that is fully accessible with VoiceOver. Imagine being able to control the cockpit, manage the engines, and navigate through the skies using audio cues and haptic feedback. It would be amazing to have a simulation where we can fly to different airports and feel like real pilots. Do you think there is a demand for such a game? I believe it would be a great addition to the accessible gaming world! Best regards, Evangelos

I would very much like to have what you ask for, however, in my humble opinion, it is not feasible. I canβt imagine how this could work on a desktop PC, let alone on a touchscreen.
There is already an accessible flight simulator for windows, but still it is nowhere near to what you are describing.
There are certain things in life that just arenβt doable. I mean I would very much like to play tennis but sadly, no can-do. not in this lifetime in all probability. in fact my lifeβs dream was to become a pilot, but no, no, and no again.
There Are certain hard facts, that we must accept as such.
Perhaps
Perhaps developers should seriously consider implementing external Bluetooth controller/keyboard Support with certain games. In that case, it just might work. Take apps such as RetroArch for example. The app literally requires you to navigate it via external controller. Xbox, PlayStation and other Bluetooth controllers along with keyboards can most definitely allow for extra buttons/functions, so I must admit I'm a bit surprised that iOS game developers, especially those who are trying to make games for the blind/visually impaired haven't considered it already.
Very complex to make
Flight sims on windows weather its say eurofly or microsoft flight simulater, x plane etc are, insanely complex. I.e, a lot of keyboard commands. You'd somehow have to translate this into ios gestures and there aren't enough gestures to make this be viable. Unless you had different panels, screens if you will and say, in panel engines holding on finger on left side of the screen for half a second started left engine same for the right but in the lights panel doing this turns on or off x light, as an example.
To be fair though, there are already flight ssims for ios out there and while I don't think this is say, as expansive as say msfs, it has been possible so, maybe? As said though, it would be very, very complex.
For now your best bet is to, if you want the most realism, go for something like prepair 3d, or msfs. Frankly I don't recommend this last one as you'll have to spend quite a lot only to be able to access, a very, very few jets at the most which you'll have to buy, and most planes and progression are, not accessible, i.e, no piston aircraft, twins, turboprops, helicopters; but its an option. The above, not worth it; is my opinion, nothing more. That's for msfs. For prepair 3d that one might have way more aircraft but I've no idea, assuming it is still worked on as far as accessibility with third party tools are concerned.
Why too complex!
Eurofly is already there on Windows and I do not see why it is impossible to have something similar on iOS. We can play card and dice games and more advanced stuff, so why not this one then!
