Accessibility Comments

I've tested the game and can definitely say that you will have a great time! When you launch the game for the first time it will already detect Voiceover running and suggest a few recommended settings for you to get started. It will change the pace to relaxed so that you will have some more time to react to the orders, but this isn't an easy game. you will feel the pressure to cook and serve everything as fast as possible. The sound effects tell you when an item finished cooking, if you play with headphones you can even feel directly on the stereo field where you should deliver it. But there are announcements for everything. The accessibility actions allow you to repeat the whole order, you can even change the pace to very relaxed if you still feel that it's too hard, since the customers lose patience and leave if you don't deliver the orders fast enough.
This innovative game is from the same awesome developer that released Pegfall, so if you already played that game, you know that you will be impressed with the high quality, features and customization options!

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

The game has music, sound effects and haptic feedback. I really recommend it! It's the best accessible game of the genre by far!

I've been taking a look at all the comments here and I'd so love the option to make your own burgers and meals and ice cream for customers, There definitely needs to be a pizzeria element to, and some sort of bakery element to this, Or maybe a game about a bakery of some sort? I’d have a grand old time making pizza and cupcakes and all those things. I think we're redesigning your game bit by bit lol. Anyway I'm gonna get off of this thread, I can't stay on here for too long otherwise I'll come up with more suggestions for this game and spend hours posting them all here

Thanks, little bunny! 😊
Footsteps are actually a really good idea. I was already thinking about making customers leaving more obvious through audio, and footsteps as they get up and leave the restaurant would fit naturally. I’ve added that to my notes. šŸ˜„
And thank you for telling me about Jesse and Illegally Sighted! I looked him up after reading your comment, and he seems like exactly the kind of person whose feedback would be incredibly useful for Restaurant Rush.
I found his contact information, so you don’t need to chase him down in his YouTube comments. šŸ˜‚ I’ll reach out to him myself and see if he’d be interested in testing the new version.
Thank you for connecting us — I genuinely had no idea about his channel until you mentioned it! ā¤ļø

Hahaha, I think you might be right — it does feel like the game is slowly changing direction bit by bit. šŸ˜‚
I really like the idea of making your own burgers, meals, pizzas, ice cream, cupcakes and things like that. It would make the cooking itself much more interactive instead of just starting a timer and waiting.
I’m still not completely sure how far I want to take Restaurant Rush in that direction, though. Part of me is thinking some of these ideas could even grow into a completely new game built around them from the beginning. On the other hand, I could also gradually integrate some of them into Restaurant Rush. I honestly don’t know yet — I think time will tell. 😊
For now I’m just enjoying reading all these ideas and writing down the ones that make me go ā€œhmmmā€¦ā€ šŸ˜‚
And yes, you should probably escape this thread while you still can, otherwise I’m going to end up with another year of development work. šŸ˜‚

Jessie is awesome sauce, I love the stuff he does on his channel. If you have a chance take a look at his IOS accessible games spotlight playlist, he updates that when he does videos for IOS accessible games, I was thinking that a audio cue could be a door opening when a customer walks in and a sitting down sound for when a customer sits at the tables, or there could be a sound where they pull out a chair and then sit down at the table. When they're done eating and when they get up to leave there could be walking sounds for walking out of the restaurant and the door closing behind them or something along the lines of that. So many audio cues for stuff lol. And of course, I always direct developers to his channel because he's a really good source for accessibility for games and products and the like. Hopefully he'll respond to you soon, I'd love to see a video of this game on his channel. This game is going to be awesome as it grows and grows and grows, and I'm all here for the ride

Thank you! 😊 I actually haven’t contacted Jesse yet. I think I’m going to wait until this new update is released first, because I’d rather have him experience Restaurant Rush with the accessibility and audio improvements we’ve been working on already in place.
The new version already adds things like door sounds, customer reactions, cat sounds, and rainy ambience, so hopefully it will give him a much better first impression of where the game is heading.
But the footsteps are a really good point. I hadn’t thought about using them specifically to communicate a customer getting up and leaving. The chair idea makes sense too — chair movement, footsteps, then the door could create a very natural little audio sequence without VoiceOver needing to explain everything.
For now, though, we’re waiting for Apple. šŸ˜‚ The update is currently in review, so Apple has the keys to the restaurant at the moment.
Once it’s out, I’ll reach out to Jesse myself. And I’ll definitely take a look at his iOS accessible games playlist too.
Thank you again — and I’m glad you’re along for the ride. At this rate I’m slightly afraid of what Restaurant Rush is going to look like a few updates from now. šŸ˜‚

I think if you did make our ideas into a whole new game that would be awesome and we'd be happy to test it out, besides, we have way way way too many ideas that would fit into one game probably, but it could also work somehow, I don't know how, but I guess it could. I'd love a Separate game with all of our ideas we've managed to come up with for this one, Oh and another audio cue, if there's an oven for making pizzas cupcakes and all that, there should be a dinging sound that lets you know the food is done, you know for things, that need baking in the oven, and we could set the timer to whatever amount of time we wanted. But, this could be a separate thing for a new game if you choose to put all of our ideas into that and build it from the ground up.

Hahaha, you’re really trying to get me to start another game now. šŸ˜‚
I have to admit, though, the idea is starting to live in the back of my mind. A game designed from the ground up around actually preparing the food — assembling burgers, making pizzas, baking cupcakes, preparing ice cream — could be really fun, especially if the audio cues are part of the gameplay from the very beginning.
And yes, the oven ā€œdingā€ is such a simple thing, but it makes perfect sense. 😊
I’m not promising anything yet because I already have enough work to keep me busy for a while. šŸ˜‚ Some of these ideas may end up in Restaurant Rush, some might belong in something completely new. We’ll see where it goes.
Hopefully we get there one way or another. For now, I just need Apple to let me release the update that already exists. šŸ˜‚

Oh it'll be great, Could voiceover announce that a customer is arriving and leaving along with the audio cues? I don't know if anyone else would agree with me on this but it could work I guess, that way we both get audio cues and spoken aloud announcements from the screen reader, but I think that would be a bit too much, right?

That actually connects to something I’ve been thinking about for the future. 😊
Rather than having VoiceOver announce every single thing that happens, I’d love to see how much of the actual gameplay information I can communicate naturally through the game’s audio.
VoiceOver could still explain the screen layout, controls, menus, where things are, and provide detailed information when the player wants it. But during the actual gameplay, things like a door opening, footsteps, a chair moving, cooking sounds, customer reactions, timers and other audio cues could tell the player what is happening without VoiceOver constantly interrupting the atmosphere.
Of course, I wouldn’t want to take that information away from anyone. The amount of VoiceOver feedback should still be something the player can control. If someone prefers more spoken information, they should be able to have it.
I just think that if I can get the audio design right, relying less on constant VoiceOver announcements could make the game feel more immersive — like you’re actually listening to and running a busy restaurant rather than having the game describe the restaurant to you. 😊
But now I may be talking about a much later version of Restaurant Rush… or possibly an entirely different restaurant game. šŸ˜‚ I’m not sure yet. It’s just an idea that’s starting to form in my head.

By Brian Giles on Monday, September 28, 2026 - 18:56

I'm enjoying this game too, although I find figuring out what to do a bit overwhelming as far as how combos work, and the campaign and things like that. Perhaps some in-game documentation or a web page could help with that, and/or an in-game tutorial so players can get used to how things work without the pressure of the normal levels.

As part of that, a description of how the screen is layed out would also be helpful. I think a game like this benefits from exploring the screen by touch. And yes, I do know that some people prefer to navigate by flicking or using a BT keyboard or a Braille display.

This game is like a better version of a game I played in the summer of 2025. McDonald's puts out little digital web games that go along with their happy meal toy promos, and they try to make them accessible. Last year they put out one called Drive Thru Dash, where you played as a McDonald's worker and you had to make happy meals and serve them to cars in the drive thru. Game play worked a lot like this Restaurant Rush game, but the interface was a bit tricky to navigate. It used its own TTS instead of your screen reader, had short descriptions of the sounds, described the intro and game over scenes, and had a tutorial at the beginning. It even gave detailed descriptions of the employee avatars you could play as! Since I knew the game was going to be replaced, I recorded a let's play of it using VoiceOver on my iPhone, but I haven't uploaded it anywhere.

Thank you so much for such thoughtful and detailed feedback. I really appreciate it. ā¤ļø
The more detailed tutorial and screen layout description unfortunately won’t make it into the update that is currently waiting for Apple’s review, since that build is already submitted. But I’ve added both to my notes, and I definitely want to include them in the next update.
Your point about learning how combos, Campaign, and the rest of the game work without the pressure of a normal level is especially valuable. A proper tutorial or practice environment where players can learn everything at their own pace makes a lot of sense.
And thank you for telling me about Drive Thru Dash! I had never heard of it before, so reading that Restaurant Rush reminded you of it — and especially that you consider this a better version of that kind of experience — honestly made me very happy. 😊
If you ever decide to upload that VoiceOver recording, I’d genuinely love to watch it. It could also be really interesting for me as a developer to see how another restaurant game approached accessibility.
Thank you again for taking the time to write all of this. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable while I’m figuring out where to take Restaurant Rush next. ā¤ļø

I absolutely love this idea. It can feel overwhelming when VoiceOver is constantly chatting, I'd love to be able to play this game relying just on the sounds, that way I could even play it with a Braille display. Right now the messages go so fast I have a hard time playing with Braille alone, but that's just me.

Right now the messages go so fast I have a hard time playing with Braille alone, but that's just me.

I think they have a happy meal out With SpongeBob and another character show I think. The original happy meal app is completely gone from the App Store which I did not know about until I couldn’t find it anywhere, it’s sad because I loved that app. They still do Accessibility with their games like little short Descriptions and things. But I wish that the app was still on the app store, I liked playing the games inside the app but now they have the website and I can't find the original games I used to play anywhere and you can't listen to the kids books without downloading the happy meal Ā® app which isn't in the united states anymore I don't think

It could totally be another game. I’m thinking of so much already like having walking mechanics for walking around the restaurant and picking up things and putting them on the stove and knocking things over by accident and spilling stuff, being able to clean the restaurant, and picking up ingredients in putting them into bowls and mixing and putting stuff into the oven to bake, and serving customers and hiring staff and visiting other players restaurants as a customer or help them out with serving people, or having players come to your restaurant as a customer or like I said before, or to help out with your own customers, being able to customize your sign for the restaurant and menu and character customization too. This seems huge, but it will definitely be something in the future. But I think restaurant Rush is the main priority right now. i’m giving you way too much ideas on how this whole game could be built from the ground up with accessibility included lol. i’m good with coming up with ideas, but What I'm not good at is, developing, and I have no experience with whatsoever, I'm just here to give ideas. all of this I have suggested would definitely not work with accessibility, I’m just throwing the stuff out there. Gotta focus on one thing at a time

By Paige on Monday, September 28, 2026 - 22:52

I love the sounds in the new update! I especially love that the cats meow now! I am still having trouble swiping through elements unfortunately but focus isn't jumping around for me so that helps.

Thank you, Paige! This is exactly the kind of balance I want to improve. I’d like the game sounds to carry more of the gameplay information, while letting players choose how much VoiceOver announces.
Your point about Braille is especially useful — if the messages are moving too quickly to comfortably follow with a Braille display, I definitely need to look at that for the next update. Thank you! 😊

That’s actually really interesting. I had no idea they had done so much accessibility work with those games. I’m going to look into some of their older ideas for inspiration, especially how they handled descriptions and audio. Thanks for telling me about it! 😊

Hahaha, I think you just designed half of another game again. šŸ˜‚ Walking around the restaurant, actually preparing ingredients, cleaning, accidents, staff, visiting other restaurants... there are definitely some ideas in there that I really like.
But I agree with your last sentence: one thing at a time. šŸ˜‚ Restaurant Rush first, and we’ll see what these ideas eventually turn into.

In reply to by Paige

I’m really glad you like the new sounds — especially the cats! šŸ˜„šŸ±
The focus jumping while swiping is definitely something I still want to improve. Thank you for confirming that it’s still happening in the new update. I’ll keep working on that for the next version. ā¤ļø

By little bunny on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 02:19

I love the new update i’m experiencing the same issue, hopefully it will be fixed soon, we need to find a platform to build a community on for this game and your future ones, that way we can all talk about bugs, suggest feedback and suggestions, and get updates from you about updates and the release of your future games

You know what, I've actually been thinking about this too. šŸ˜‚ This AppleVis thread has somehow started turning into a little community of its own, and I really love seeing everyone share ideas and help each other.
For now, though, please keep posting here — I read everything you all write, even when I don't manage to reply to every single message. ā¤ļø
I also think it could be fun to put together a small tester group for Restaurant Rush, Pegfall and whatever strange game I decide to build next. šŸ˜‚ If anyone reading this would like to be part of that, feel free to email me at gokhan@birkinapps.com and just mention that you're interested in testing.
Nothing formal — just a small group of players who enjoy trying new builds, finding bugs, throwing ideas at me and telling me when I've broken something. šŸ˜‚
And honestly, if this little community keeps growing, maybe one day it will deserve its own place. For now, AppleVis is doing a pretty good job of becoming one by itself. ā¤ļø

Where will the testing group be? I only have Facebook and Reddit but I only use that sometimes, but one of the two could Definitely work. Reddit could work since I’m having issues with Facebook right now, and they don’t seem to want to fix accessibility issues that are going completely poof, bang, splat. Hahahahahahaha, oh, I completely forgot, I have discord so we can make a community there, sometimes I don’t check it often, but I check it for the communities that I’m really interested in.

Reddit could definitely work! Discord isn't really an option for me where I am right now. šŸ˜‚
For now, feel free to keep posting here — I read everything you all write. You can also email me directly if you'd like to join the testing group.
Longer term, I'm actually thinking about creating a small Birkin Apps community for testers and players across all of my games. Nothing huge or complicated, just a nice place for feedback, ideas, bug reports, and testing new builds together. 😊
Thanks for wanting to be part of it!

By little bunny on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 03:31

I'd definitely like to join, if you create the testing group and then put it here for everybody to see, for those who have reddit can join or create another AppleVis post with the link to the testing group. Can't wait for this

By birkinapps on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 03:37

In reply to by little bunny

Absolutely! 😊 I have a few things I need to take care of today, but I promise I’ll look into setting this up sometime this week.
Building a small testing group and staying in touch with the community is genuinely important to me. A lot of the improvements in my games have already come directly from conversations like these, so I definitely want to create a good place for us to keep doing that.
And yes, once it’s ready I’ll share it here so anyone interested can join. ā¤ļø
Thanks for being so excited about it!

The new update to Restaurant Rush is great. I love the new sounds.

As for that video I made of that other game I played, I tried putting it up on YouTube but it didn't work. So I need another way to share it. It was definitely an interesting and obscure game.

By dark on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 12:37

I'm liking the new update, especially telling the difference between endless and story modes.
I also bought the supporter pack, and its nice to get some extra cash for completing shifts.

I'm afraid though the daily rewards are still showing weirdly, and I'm getting bounced around whilst trying to pick them up, so glad to hear this is noted and there's a fix on the way.

Thanks Brian! 😊 I’m really glad you’re enjoying the new sounds. A lot of work went into making the restaurant feel more alive without making the audio too overwhelming alongside VoiceOver, so it’s great to hear that.
And no worries about the video! Now you’ve made me even more curious about that mysterious obscure game. šŸ˜‚ If you eventually find a way to share it, I’d still love to see it.
Thanks again for all the feedback!

Thank you, Dark! 😊 I’m really glad the distinction between Story and Endless is clearer now, and thank you so much for supporting the game with your purchase as well. It genuinely helps me keep working on the game and these updates. ā¤ļø
And yes — the Daily Rewards focus issue is still on my list. The way VoiceOver can bounce around while you’re trying to collect the rewards definitely isn’t how I want that screen to behave. I’m working on it, and I also want the next update to spend more time with testers before I release it so we can catch things like this properly.
Thanks for sticking with the game and continuing to report these things. Please keep telling me whenever something feels awkward — even if you’ve mentioned it before. 😊

One more thing I wanted to ask you, Dark šŸ˜„
I’ve noticed something interesting on my side. A few players have purchased packs that include Coins, but so far I haven’t really seen anyone spending those Coins.
That made me wonder if there might be something unclear in the game. Is it obvious where Coins can be spent and what you can unlock with them? Or do the things currently available for Coins simply not feel interesting or useful enough to spend them on?
I’m genuinely curious, because if there’s a usability, explanation, or content problem there, that’s something I should work on. Feel free to be completely honest. 😊

By Kelvin Tan on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 13:07

hey guys. i spent coins to unlock drinks like double cola, coffee, etc. i am having trouble making coffee however. when i doubletap on the table that asked for coffee, i get the message nothing was prepared. i even got stuck with all 4 of my tables asking for coffee and i couldn't do anything about it and so lost the level. haha. help please?

By MelodicFate on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 13:23

This new update is a lot of fun. The new sounds are cool, and switching between endless and story mode is much easier.
The biggest problem I've seen is unlocking the new restaurants. I managed to unlock them all, but the process was kind of difficult. I couldn't just double-tap on the unlock or 180, as was the case with the burger place. I had to explore by touch and hope I found the right place.
I am running an iPhone 15 pro on iOS 27, so this could be just a me problem.
Either way, it was doable, but the process could definitely be made easier.
Thanks for all the work that's gone into this.

In reply to by Kelvin Tan

Hi Kelvin,
Thank you for reporting this, and sorry about the lost level! This is a bug in the game — you didn’t do anything wrong.
Coffee is prepared at the Coffee Bar, but the kitchen only has room for it after you purchase the Extra Station upgrade. The problem is that the game started giving you coffee orders before the Coffee Bar was available, which meant those orders were impossible to prepare. That’s why VoiceOver was announcing ā€œnothing preparingā€ when you tried.
For now, there are two ways around it:
1. Make sure Sip Stop is your selected restaurant, then open Upgrades from the main menu and purchase Extra Station for 480 Dollars. Starting with your next shift, the Coffee Bar will be available in the kitchen, and you’ll be able to prepare coffee by double-tapping the appropriate coffee table.
2. If you don’t have 480 Dollars yet, coffee orders only start appearing from shift 11 at Sip Stop. You can replay shifts 1–10 or play Endless mode to earn Dollars without receiving coffee orders. Petting the cats and completing Daily Goals can help you earn more as well.
I’ll fix this in the next update so the game won’t give you coffee orders until the Coffee Bar is actually available in your kitchen. I’ll also improve the menu information so VoiceOver clearly tells you what each coffee recipe requires.
Thank you for playing Restaurant Rush with VoiceOver and, especially, for taking the time to report this. Reports like this really help me find accessibility issues I can’t always catch on my own. 😊
Gƶkhan
Birkin Apps

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the update. 😊
And it definitely wasn’t just you — I found the problem. Each locked restaurant was being announced twice as ā€œUnlock, 180 Dollars.ā€ The first one, immediately after the restaurant name, was only a label, so double-tapping it didn’t actually do anything. The real Unlock button was at the end of the restaurant card.
Until the next update, there’s a workaround: after hearing the restaurant name, keep swiping right through the restaurant details until you reach the second ā€œUnlock, 180 Dollarsā€, then double-tap that one.
I’ve changed this for the next update. Each locked restaurant will now be a single accessible button, for example: ā€œGrill Garden, Unlock, 180 Dollars.ā€ Double-tapping anywhere on that restaurant button will unlock it immediately.
Thanks again for the detailed report — this was exactly the kind of VoiceOver issue that was easy to miss without someone running into it during normal play. 😊

By little bunny on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 13:52

I just realized that this game is kinda like Cooking fever, where you have so many restaurants you have to take orders for and serve customers, I don’t know if there’s a customization element to that game because that game is completely inaccessible with voiceover and is only meant for sighted people, but I just realized that it was similar to that game, I’m loving the update so far and I hope we get more restaurants in future updates, I love the customization element too, it’s nice that you can upgrade your restaurants and customize them the way you want them, even though we can’t see them visually. I don’t have any ideas for more customization options, but I just love that element and also customizing your chef too, I don't have any more ideas for restaurant upgrades, but I’d like to see more in the future. I was also having the same issue MelodicFate had but I don't remember the work around I found for it.

By birkinapps on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 14:02

In reply to by little bunny

I can definitely see the Cooking Fever comparison! šŸ˜„ I haven't tried to recreate that game specifically, but the idea of having very different restaurants, each with their own food, upgrades and mechanics, is something I'd really like to expand over time.
I'm especially happy you mentioned customization. I've actually been wondering how much visual customization matters to players using VoiceOver, so hearing that you enjoy customizing the restaurants even if you can't see the visual changes is genuinely useful feedback. Chef customization could be fun too — I'll keep that idea in mind. 😊
And yes, I'd love to add more restaurants in future updates. I'd rather make each one feel meaningfully different than just add lots of restaurants that all play the same way.
About the unlocking problem: MelodicFate helped me figure out what was happening. There were actually two elements that VoiceOver announced as ā€œUnlock, 180 Dollars.ā€ The first was only a label, while the second one at the end of the restaurant card was the real button. That's probably why it felt inconsistent.
I've already fixed that for the next update. Each locked restaurant will be one accessible button, so you'll hear something like ā€œGrill Garden, Unlock, 180 Dollars,ā€ and a normal double-tap will unlock it.
Thanks again — and please keep throwing ideas at me whenever they come to you! šŸ˜„

I don't know how but I managed to unlock all the restaurants, Lol I have all of them now. i’ve only seen videos of cooking fever and ads in the past that have promoted it, but I’ve never played it before but I like that it’s similar to it. Hopefully this game will be the next big thing for IOS and android for both sighted players and blind players alike. That way you'll have the same playing field on both sides and we all play equally

By birkinapps on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 14:21

In reply to by little bunny

Haha, congratulations on unlocking them all! šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø
Each restaurant starts at level 1 with its basic menu, so unlocking the restaurant itself is intentionally the easier part. Clearing its levels and buying its recipes from the Menu is where the real progression begins.
The funny thing is that Restaurant Rush actually existed for a few months before all of this and never really found much of an audience. The accessibility work and all the feedback from this community have honestly given the game a second life, so seeing what is happening now has been a really unexpected and wonderful experience for me.
I’d love to keep expanding it with more restaurants, upgrades, customization and, over time, more things that make each restaurant feel different.
And I really like what you said about sighted and blind players having the same playing field. That’s exactly what I want too — not a separate ā€œaccessible version,ā€ but the same game for everyone.
We’re still very early, but hopefully this is only the beginning. šŸ˜„ā¤ļø

Once you get it up off the ground and to some sighted players that could tell you the visual elements that we can't I think it'll be awesome. Did you add the idea to your notes about us being able to make drinks and food by ourselves and serve it to the customers eventually? I don’t have any ideas, but I wanted to be more immersive. No ideas come to mind but I'm pretty sure we can come up with something, I like the rain sounds and the cooking sounds and the door sounds when customers come in and all that. That's a really good start. this game is totally going to be redesigned lol. We should let you add your own stuff too. After all it's your game that you've developed

By birkinapps on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 14:38

In reply to by little bunny

I'm starting to think some of you can secretly see my development notes. šŸ˜‚
Yes, I absolutely have the more hands-on cooking idea in my notes. I want to experiment with making parts of preparing and serving food more interactive, while being careful not to turn the game into something that becomes frustrating or overly complicated with VoiceOver.
And since you mentioned customization again, I can reveal a little bit of what I'm already working on for a future update: I want players to be able to add objects and decorations to their restaurants, and I'm also working on things like being able to give gifts to the cats. šŸ˜„ There are a few other ideas around this that I'll keep as surprises for now.
The sounds are something I want to keep building on too. Rain, cooking, customers arriving, the cats and the restaurant ambience are only the beginning. I really like the idea that the restaurant should feel like a place around you, not just a collection of VoiceOver buttons.
And don't worry — I'm definitely keeping some ideas of my own too. šŸ˜‚ But honestly, watching everyone play and seeing what you all imagine the game could become is giving me ideas I probably wouldn't have come up with on my own.
At this point I'm starting to think you can all see my roadmap. šŸ˜„ā¤ļø

Hi, no matter what I do or what I "open" or choose, I can only give egg plates and cokes to the people. How can I add more things? I can understand better in Turkish though

another idea I just thought of while I was reading this, I’m thinking we should be able to interact with the objects, safe for example a lamp, you could turn the lamp on and turn the lamp off, turn the lights on and off in the restaurant, if we have a sign that’s for decoration, we should be able to customize the sign and menus and such, this seems huge, but it's just an idea I thought of, did you also add the idea of being able to plate the food too? once the food is cooked we should be able to plate it and serve the customers, same with drinks, we could have different machines in a restaurant for example: A ice, a machine for water, and a Cola machine, once we fill the cups up with whatever drink the customer asks for we can serve them, getting the cups could have a mechanic, but I don’t know what that would be. These are just ideas. Different stations in the restaurants could have different mechanics too. Also when serving the customers there should be sounds for setting down drinks and plates once the food is brought out to the tables. like I said before, these are all ideas for now. I like the idea of being able to add objects and decorations to the restaurants and giving gifts to the cats so that's perfect

Merhaba, yazdığın için çok teşekkürler! Yumurta Tabağı sadece Sonsuz Vardiya'da çıkıyor, yani Sonsuz modda oynuyorsun. Orada menü şöyle büyüyor:

Her yeni Sonsuz koşu sadece içecek istasyonuyla, yani kolayla başlar.
Yeni yemek her vardiya gelmez.

In English, for everyone: Egg Plate only exists in Endless Shift, so you're playing Endless. There, a new run starts with drinks only (cola). New dishes aren't offered after every shift. They come after you clear shifts 2, 8, 14, 20 and so on (every 6 shifts), sometimes together with a new station, like the Griddle with Egg Plate or the Fryer with Fries. The cards in between are boosts such as speed, patience or tips, and buying a station in the Kitchen doesn't add a dish by itself. Your menu resets when the run ends. Recipes you unlock with Dollars under Restaurants, then Menu, are for Story mode, not Endless. So for more variety, push past shift 8 in Endless or play Story mode. The game should explain this better, and we'll fix that in the next update. Thanks for playing!

Okay, now you're definitely trying to redesign the whole game. šŸ˜‚
But yes, I really like the direction of some of these ideas. In particular, having objects that aren't just decorative but can actually be interacted with is interesting. Turning lights on and off, interacting with signs, placing objects, and giving different stations their own behavior could make the restaurant feel much more like an actual place rather than just a screen you move through.
The food preparation idea is interesting too. You're not the first person to suggest having more steps between starting a recipe and serving it, so that's definitely something I'm thinking about. Plating food, preparing drinks in stages, and having different mechanics for different stations could add a lot — I just need to find the right balance so it adds immersion without turning every order into ten repetitive actions, especially with VoiceOver.
And I really like the sound idea. A plate being placed on a table, a glass being set down, ice dropping into a cup, a drink being poured — those are exactly the kinds of sounds that can communicate what's happening without VoiceOver needing to explain every little action.
I'm not promising all of this for the next update though. šŸ˜‚ Some of these ideas would be quite a big change to the gameplay, so I'd rather experiment with them and see what is actually fun before committing to anything.
Keep the ideas coming, though. At this rate I'm going to have to give you access to my development notes. šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

Hahahahahahaha, I like when everything is a surprise. I just thought those would be such good ideas to put in your notes, you can even test some out when you get to that point to see what feels right.

i really like this title! this was the one you said would be harder to get ready, apart from your other game? forgot the title logic, something?

anyways love the game but have a quick issue. say if table 1 is about to leave and i have prepared an order, it still seems to deliver it, to an empty table? i am on the default mode of the game assume the high intensity modes of pace will be unusable for voiceover users? this is fast enough already lol. have played endless mode quite a bit now loving it, not tried the campaign yet.

Thank you once again

Haha, the other game you’re thinking of is Logic Loom, but the one that’s actually more difficult for me to get ready is Tindrift. It’s still in testing at the moment. Thankfully, people have been testing it and sending me feedback, so I keep getting notifications and fixing issues as they come in. :)

And thanks for reporting the table issue! If the customers have already left, you shouldn’t be able to deliver their order to an empty table, so I’ll check that.

I’m really glad you’re enjoying Endless Mode! The higher-intensity modes are definitely much faster, but I may make some adjustments to keep them manageable for VoiceOver users.

can i privately help test the other one? that game you mentioned?

will let you know how story mode goes.
