I decided to go and use a Shadow PC for my gaming neds on my Macbook. Setting up the client was easy enough, although the accessibility with VO could definitly be better, but one can get around.
The problem is that NVDA on Windows sometimes uses key combinations with the CTRL key, something that Mac OS intercepts, so I for example can't simply use something like NVDA Key plus CTRL plus arrow keys to go through the speach quick settings.
Is there any way to have Mac OS ignore these keys in the Shadow App so I can use NVDA without problems? It doesn't matter if I have an external keyboard attached or not.
When I used Paralells, I could give exclusive access to the keyboard to paralells so something like this wouldn't happen. Any tips from users who use Shadow as well?

How did you even get NVDA to work?
When I tried using shadow, I couldn't even tab around with windows. I could start it up, but windows never seemed to gain keyboard focus even once voiceover was turned off. I was on the web version, so maybe thats why. Are you using the app?
As to your initial question though, you'll have to turn some shortcuts off like mission control and so on. I've not had coffee so I can't remember how to do it, but you'll have to disable any of the shortcuts that use conflicting keys.

Just like with regular vm. So for example, you'll need to map capslock to numpad insert (there is some apple scripts deep on this website that do this very well) and then you can either just turn off vo entirely or selectively change stuff.
I am probably not right at all too as I have no experience with shadow but thought useful to post it just in case, lmk.
