Accessibility Comments

Since this app has so many mini games in many categories, many of them are working with Voiceover. others are becoming accessible with future updates, and most of the arcade games are currently inaccessible. To make this app even better, please download it and try as many games as possible and send feedback to the developer. I can guarantee that there are tens of games that are already fully accessible.
Here are some recommendations:
Ballio, Block escape, final piece, match 3, onet connect classic, pips, plus one, tile drop

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

The games have music, sound effects, haptic feedback.

This is a fun app. I've played a few games on it, and most of them are great. There's a few that aren't accessible or don't work well with VO, but the thing is, everything else is great. There's so may games to play, and they're all pretty cozy. None of the ones I tested have any time pressure.

How do you play it? What I mean is, if I look around the screen, I see the balls and their rows and columns. i can move them be swiping up and down to which direction I want them to move, e.g. "move down", or whatever it's called, launch maybe?

What I don't see are any obstacles or delineations or where a potential pathway goes.

So for instance, I might have a ball at 3,2, 8,3, and 9,3, but I can't move 8,3 to the right, that's not a valid move. SO I figure fine, I'll move 3,2 down to get it in that line, then maybe I can move that one right. Nope, it moves down but then I restart the level because there are no more moves.

I am clearly missing something about the layout.

I have only tested a few games thus far, but I really like it. Has anyone else tried to play "Michael Says" successfully? If the game is supposed to make sounds for the various colours, as is the case with Simon, this wasn't working for me. My favourite game so far is Match 3.

My favorite game so far is dice merge. There's so many great games on here.

Hey everyone!
Please update your app!
There are accessibility improvements for many games, including Michael says, Ballio, and perhaps many more that I haven't tested yet.
Plus, there's a roguelike breakout game called Ball Brick. It's now fully accessible and so much fun! we can now swipe left and right to review the board and can double tap a brick to aim exactly there, which helps so much because you don't need to choose the angle manually.
There's also the Arrow escape game which became fully accessible.
We will continue to receive more games and updates. I'm suggesting more stuff to the developer, he is awesome! If you can, please donate some money. You can find the support page on the settings.
My next favorite game that will probably become accessible soon will be warehouse keeper. It's a Sokoban game with hundreds of levels.

I saw the Ballio update when I played today. Great stuff, since I might be the only one who mentioned it, or did somebody else? Anyway, dev will definitely be getting some money from me. Really appreciate this kind of thing, especially with quite a few unique games.

This is a great game. Thanks for helping the dev work on it.

I would love to see the Reversi game made accessible. I was able to play it and it told me what my available moves were, but I couldn't explore the gameboard. It also didn't tell me where the computerized opponent put its pieces.

How can you tell where the division for each aquarium is? I can see the requirements for each row and column, what each square has and if there's an error, but not where each aquarium is.

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded No Wifi Mini Games!

I’ve been reading your comments and feedback and making updates based on your suggestions, especially when it comes to making the games more accessible.

I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their experience. I’m working toward making every game in the collection as accessible as possible. It won’t all happen at once, but with each update and each piece of feedback, I hope the experience gets a little better.

Thank you for playing, and please keep the feedback coming!

Hi Paige!

Thank you for pointing this out! You’re right—the aquarium boundaries weren’t being communicated clearly through VoiceOver. I’ve fixed this so each cell will announce its aquarium and which sides have boundary walls. This improvement will be included in a future update.

Jordan

Hi Brooke!

Thank you for the helpful feedback! I’ve updated Reversi so VoiceOver users can explore the entire board, hear what occupies each square, and receive an announcement identifying where the computer places its piece. These improvements will be included in a future update.

Regards,
Jordan

Hey Jordan! This is really great! keep up the awesome job! two more great games fully accessible! Now we can play a Sokoban game, this is fantastic! I've also noticed the improvements to the Bubble popper game. There's only a small bug that wen pressing the aim left and right buttons sometimes Voiceover is interrupting the information on the button press, maybe there's a way to check for the button to be pressed to send the text, perhaps waiting half a second for the announcement. Lastly regarding the swish shot game, it's almost accessible as well. We just need either some sound cues to be able to understand the flight pattern or the haptic feedback.
