league offline?
Anyone else get this? I have a league ranking, but when I go to look it says league offline. Is it just me, or did the entire league system go offline?
Seasonal Changes
I really feel like changing from season to season needs to be smoother. When the season ended, it said I stayed in the Starter league. But when I go into the League tab, it has me in bronze. So that’s confusing. Also, my number of delivered packages isn’t updating.
Streak reset and losing Rewards
Hey everyone. When I updated the app this morning, it took me back to day one rather than continuing with my streak and I lost some of the Rewards that I had got last night. Anyone else experiencing that?
Coins
When the new season started, all the trillions of coins i had is gone. Every time this game has an update something goes wrong. I might trash it one day because it don't feel like its worth playing.
What the heck did they do to the scaling of coins?
What in the world did they do to the coin scaling? 0.1 packages per second? How is that possible? I figured maybe if I sold the company it might straighten things out but apparently not
I noticed this too
As the subject states, I've noticed this too. Talk about a major ouch. I used to be delivering around 20 quadrillion packages a second, and now it's back down to the billions per second. Can't say I'm all that inspired to keep playing after this.
scaling
This is going to keep happening. They don't like the numbers getting too big, they will keep scaling it back.
I deleted
I know this is an idle game but I spent time on it and I feel like I'm not getting my worth so I deleted it last night. I tried deleting my profile but the game won't let me so at this point I really don't care no more. I will find other things to play.
over it
I feel like I'm only playing this anymore because there's so few multiplayer games.
So they only did this because they don’t like big numbers?
I like the game, I really do. However, I don’t like this adjustment they’ve made in the latest update. Do they think that something‘s unfair?
Over it Too
I noticed this sudden downscaling, on top of that I'm stuck in a Gold League that has two people but both levels are stuck at not progessing to the next tier league so Ihave no idea what the point is anymore. I've cancelled my subscription already and just DGAF anymore. I get new games and all, but this is frankly ridiculous. It has been issue after issue after issue. Oh and if you email them for support you get your response back in German, I've had to traslate every time. The least they could do is bother to send the response back in Translated English if they can understand it. I'vesent in a coupl eof reports and had to Google Translate the replies. I guess this is minor but honestly I'm just fed up. They should have tested this before release and gotten it hte way they want. At least Prestige stars seem to be 1 star to upgrade any skill despite level again, but this just isn't fun anymore.
I like the new scaling
I like the new scaling. The numbers some people were getting were absolutely crazy, and that can't be good for the servers. Plus, at some point it became really hard to tell if you were making meaningful progress or not, so I am gladd that toned down the experience needed per level for example.
When do you all choose to sell the company?
I was just curious the strategy that most people use. I don’t know what the thoughts of the forum rules are for this, but have people posted their codes so that you can join and work together.
prestige
Ever since this terrible new update I've been prestiging multiple times a day. Because all the upgrades are worth 1 point now, I don't feel like it's as necessary to build up a ton of stars and try to have more stars than the last sale, like i did before.
Yeah the game was fun but...
I do get why it was done this way, we were getting huge numbers. I don't presteage a lot but I think that thing is a bit broken anyway, I've basically beaten the game; i'm just gonna get all the prestige points skills filled up as far as I can. maybe they'l change something again but I'm not to bothered, they're trying and that's the best they can do. When i emailed i got responses in english so I don't know why people got responses in German.
I get it too
Yeah, at first I was a little frustrated because I didn’t really understand why they needed to downscale everything so much, but then again all these huge numbers are probably really overworking their servers. My only thing is I’m stuck in bronze league at 17, I can’t seem to get any higher or lower even after I sold the company and bought a lot of of the prestige skills
Extremely frustrating now
I was kind of addicted to this game. I didn’t have the same crazy numbers that other people had, having a full-time job and a house to run prevents that. However, I’m finding now that everything is scaled back, I’m not getting anywhere. I’m not getting enough money to buy anything. Takes me about three days to buy one of the upgrades, and I can’t increase my speed because it is moving so slow that I’m not getting enough money to buy more vehicles.
Shift length
I've just started playing this. No idea how some of you people get these insane numbers I didn't even know existed! Now, for a simple amateur, can anyone tell me why I can't increase the length of the shift? It's stuck at one hour. The increment button does nothing. What can I do? Is it something I can't do until I unlock features?
shift extention
You need to buy staff upgrades from the upgrades button, and whenever you decide to sell your company, use prestige perk points to buy the over night shift. Once you have everything it's possible to have in those two areas, you should be able to have 9 and a half hour shifts. As for the numbers you've read, they pretty much won't exist any more under the game's new economy. I don't mind that numbers are smaller/more realistic, but at the same time, why did they had to introduce decimals into the mix? I mean: delivering 0.3 of a package is just nonsense, and partial coins? Everything is out 3 decimal places now, and it just seems like a completely pointless and unnecessary change. Good luck building up your package delivery empire.
Quadrillions
The quadrillion merchants are still here. I've been playing this three days and am at level 62 in the bronwhe league. I've done everything I can think of and I'm only able to deliver at 60 billion packages per second. Yet there's some character called Grandma Rachel who's Quadrillioning away like a trooper! I fear I shall be relegated at the end of the week. There seems no quick path to quadrillions for Bingo. I should add that I am not spending any money at all on this game. If I build an empire it will be based on skill alone. I also see that Grandma Rachel is on level 196 which suggests she's been playing quite some time, even though up until a few hours ago she was rubbish, only dealing in the millions of packages. Anyway, onwards and upwards. I just wish I knew how these bastards did it!
I feel your pain, Bingo
Especially under the new economy, huge numbers just don't seem possible like they used to be. I've somehow made it to the gold league, but I actually need to make a screen recording because purchasing vehicles is very broken, yet again. So, it might not be anything you're doing wrong.
About scaling
I'm slowly getting accustomed, again, to the workings of the game, as they've updated things here and there. I am glad they seem to have fixed the bug with the Golden Packages, as that was annoying I missed out on a few... and some took literally 5+ minutes before they said they were claimed.
I don't particularly care that they've been scaling back, and back, and back. If it's about the servers, fine, but if it is because of the numbers not meeting their expectations, or something, simple:
Spread things out. Want people to not be producing octillions of packages? Maybe make the vehicles able to do that not so readily available. Make the Universal Portals cost more to unlock, creep in cost more, something like that...
Also, brain is back at it with ideas. Do you guys think it would be better to post them here, or email them? It seems the email stuff feels more like it is meant for actually getting support for bugs, or stuff... but...
Missing bulk purchasing options
So, we do have bulk purchases, in the form of long-pressing in the vehicles section, however, even with the change to the talent tree area, it still takes a good few minutes to spend the amount of stars I am getting, which is between 60 to 90 per run. So, hopeful for long-pressing to be available in this area, as well as the primary upgrades section.
For bingo
Hi! I am still in shock after reading your post, I had no idea! I’ve been playing about three weeks, I can’t get out of the bronze league. I thought I was pretty small as players go, so I was amazed to hear myself compared to the big guys! Believe me, I am not a big guy! I’m just put my name suggest, your basic grandma. Good luck with this game, it can be a lot of fun.
All the best,
Rachael.
The real Grandma Rachel!
Wow! I cannot believe I have met the real Grandma Rachel....sort of! What are the chances of my picking on a random character who happens also to be an appleviser eh? The reasoning behind this is as follows: I was in the bronze league and was using you as a comparator because, to begin with, we both seemed fairly evenly matched and then, for a time, I was way ahead of you so that was a superb feel good factor - a bit like the feeling one gets when one's mortgage lender writes saying that the bank of England has reduced the base rate of interest. Additionally, you were a comparator with a name that made sense. I also had another comparator called Victoria S in my group, and a Jamie Dodger's Gingerbread Mail Service. I have not convinced any of my real friends to play this game, you see - I think they find it rather odd. Well, I was relegated - Jamie Dodger was, I think, promoted, and you stayed where you were. Victoria S was also relegated and was, I am delighted to say, trailing in Bingo's wake. I sold my company and now find myself back in the bronze league, and I note that the dear old Jamie Dodger is still there. What's more, I'm now being followed around by a lass (I assume her gender) called Carolyn Sanches, who was in my previous starter group and who is now a few quadrillion packages behind me in the bronze leage. I daresay 30 seconds online will make short work of that. I have sped up considerably, so maybe there is hope after all; but some geezer called Octopus something or other and his gang of followers are now quintillioning away. Ridiculous! I mean, there's a point where the large numbers get bloody stupid and somewhat spoil the enjoyment - at least, that's how I see it; and all these bleeders who fail to update their name and call themselves Packeheld should be shot. Mind you, there are some bloody boring names out there - package express? That'd work if they weren't trailing in Bingo's wake! Rachel, I wish I could have hung on to you as a comparator, but I appear to have no say in such matters.
I am Royal Arch on this bleedin' game, by the way, should anyone want to keep a look out for me. That's right - Royal Arch as in Exultation, which might mean something to gentleman on applevis who share a common interest in such matters and to whom I need say no more than that. I have joined one of the teams advertised here, but I notice that is comprised mainly of quintillion geezers so I doubt my presence will register.
