My New App Has Just Been Released on the App Store!
I’m excited to announce the release of my second app on the App Store—an app designed to be a practical and useful tool for many of us in our daily lives.
While there are already several similar apps available, my goal was to create something that offers greater accuracy, better performance, and more flexibility for users.
What Makes This App Stand Out?
Highly enhanced sensitivity, capable of detecting even very small light sources in dark environments.
Faster response times, allowing changes in lighting conditions to be detected instantly and without noticeable delays.
Flexible customization options, enabling users to tailor the app to their individual preferences and needs.
A wide audio scaling range, providing greater precision and making it easier to perceive differences in light intensity.
The app is available completely free of charge, and I would be delighted if you gave it a try and compared it with other similar apps you may already be using.
Your feedback is extremely valuable to me, as it helps me continue improving the app. If you find it useful and enjoy using it, a five-star rating on the App Store would be greatly appreciated and would help more people discover it.
Thank you all for your support, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback! https://apps.apple.com/gr/app/άκου-το-φως/id6775528809?l=el
Comments
it works.
it works great with ambient light. The sound reminds me of the Theremin machine. I tried to focus on a light source on my refrigerator, but couldn’t seem to do it. That was probably because there was too much light in the kitchen in general.
Yes
Yes, this applies when there is lighting in the space — it cannot detect small LEDs, which is of course perfectly normal.
Vibration
It'd be fantastic if one of these apps, and yours could be the one! would integrate haptic feedback. Possibly show light intensity by different speeds of click-style vibrations? Longer and shorter pulses? To many of these apps assume the user can hear, and some of us don't hear so well.
That’s great!
That’s great! I’ll make sure to include haptic feedback support in the next release. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention.
V1.1
The new version has been released, featuring haptic feedback and several other enhancements.
