Hello everyone,
Because the official Telegram client is completely inaccessible to us blind users, I decided—with the help of the Codex AI—to create my own Telegram client that is fully accessible with VoiceOver.
Unfortunately, I have run into several critical bugs that I’m not able to solve on my own. First of all, I need to clearly emphasize that I am not a programmer—I have virtually no programming knowledge at all.
Even so, I tried to create something that will help all of us who are blind and make using Telegram pleasant and convenient.
Sadly, I have to say that at the moment I have not managed to correctly implement the calling system. The app very often cannot properly establish a call after answering, and it crashes when a call is not answered. It also often happens that the app does not ring at all and gives no indication that there is an incoming call.
In addition, there are many issues with telemetry, high resource usage, and performance optimization, and the app drains the battery heavily.
To connect to Telegram, I used the TDLib library.
I kindly ask and appeal to all developers here for help, because neither I nor Codex are able to fix these problems. Anyone who is interested in helping to fix the app and bring it to a usable and stable state—and who has programming experience—is welcome to contact me directly.

totally unaware of this app, I even went as far as buying a Mac Mini just for this. My app was barely authenticating so far. So, instead of reinventing the wheel, I'd rather collaborate on your effort. I am still at my early Swift career, but would be keen on working to improve it.

A few things I've found
1 the app sometimes crashes when making or receiving phone calls.
2 if in a call and you get a message you can't get back to your list of conversations.
This app is off to a nice start. I am part of the beta and have sent in logs. I look forward to seeing this improve.
Yes app slows down in making calls
The app slows down whenever you go to the calls tab.

Improved macOS Support
I installed this on my Mac and while it works, it's clunky and clear it was meant for iOS touch use. Is it possible to add keyboard commands to move between messages, conversations, make calls, etc? The Mac doesn't have a good Telegram client to the best of my knowledge.

I only just discovered this post a couple of days ago, and I think this project is excellent, even though it still has some shortcomings. I would like to know if this project is still under development? If it is, I hope to see further updates here. I really, truly need an accessible Telegram client.

I enter my phone number and tap the send verification code button, but I’d never get a verification code.

THe developper just produced a new beta,
many things had been solved,
the app is more stable now,
many sounds have been added.
still searching inside a Conversation is not possible, editing the channle info if you are an admin is not p[ossible also,
but the good thing is that, the developper got all notes, and try to do as much as he can.
