Hi community,
I wanted to hear from those who have experience with Google Drive on the mac. For this context, i'll be using the Crome browser, assuming that one is best.
It's been a while since I used Google Drive, but I've never used it on Mac. However, I feel more comfortable using it on Mac rather than windows.
Anyone know easy ways to locate a folder and then files within that folder?
Thanks for any help.

It'll be easier with the app
At least from experience, the app will be way easier, their web interface is, clunky putting it mildly.
Agree
The web view is okay for occasional viewing, but install the app you'll get the regular finder and the app is accessible because it's in electron.
app for mac
I wasn't aware there was a Google Drive app for Mac, unless you're talking about iOS. Could you clarify?
In the folder there's a Google Sheet I have to fill out for a class I'm taking, just for some context.
Download link

If that direct link does not work for you, you can download it from the following website:

I'll never understand
Why Google has packed a .pkg in a .dmg. This is pure skill issue.
But yeah. Remember that this is only the google drive app for sync, the rest, sheets, docs, etc, are all on web as usual. And to preserve the remaining mental health we have when using voiceover on macos use google chrome with gSuite.
iOS app
I'll probably just end up using the iOS app. Thanks everyone!
Re: I'll never understand
It's simple. Google hates you.
True story. 😇
Using Google Drive with Mac
You can find a list of keyboard shortcuts for the Mac by Googling them. I know for the course you'll want to find results using your computer and use Safari for testing purposes. Especially since you'll be looking from a perspective that a beginning user may not know or even want to mess with downloading a browser that they may not even be familiar with. Good luck in the course.
