I don't think anyone here's secretly meta's sales agents pretending as blind guys just to convince Ash Rain of the value of the Meta Glasses. I mean, noone of us is that important in the larger scheme of things. This feels more like Ash Rain trying to convince themselves and others (HARD) that what they've been saying is the only truth no matter what the majority of the user group feels, as if they're the only custodian of the absolute truth around here. Even that would've been tolerable if they would have not been bating specific individuals (in different ways) to respond to then. Well, personally, this is an interesting exercise though it does constitute a pointless loss of time...

How do you justify making such sweaping claims about a product that you haven't used yourself based purely on some youtube videos which could always have been editted? What gives you the authority to try to convince/misguide people about a product that you haven't even tried out? Yet, when people who used a product give their personal opinion, for you that's not objective. If that's not hypocritical, someone tell me what around here is? I have nothing against the Echo Vision Glasses and I really hope they will deliver; but I don't understand the logic wherein someone is absolutely blasting not only a product that's been around for about 2 years in the market and has been a possitive experience for most of the users (within the community), but also is on a crusade against anyone who is saying a good thing about it is able to convince themselves of the absolute efficacy of a product that they themselves have not used, much less is out in the market. Seems borderline suspicious if you ask me. "A lot of of the worries that we have had have been directly addressed". If I remember correctly, some of the worries that you have had about the Meta glasses included "It doesn’t describe things well. It gets a lot of things wrong. It isn’t reliable... It also doesn’t work in darker environments like nighttime... it is rudimentary at best... it’s a pair of heavy uncomfortable glasses... I don’t like people hearing anything that I’m doing..." then something about "some illusion loop"... Given that you haven't used the Echo Vision glasses, on what objective basis are you trying to convince people that the glasses have been able to tackle all these problems? Much less, how have you convinced yourself? I remember you saying the meta glasses are a "cash grab" thing and that privacy is an ellusion with the device. What proof do you have that any other glass is any different?
Let me give another instance, around the same conversation, of you being absolutely hypocritical, logically flawed, biased and non-objective, all traits which you keep accusing other people of: in another conversation on the Meta Glasses themselves, I remember you chiding the folks who pre-ordered Glide, apparently because they did not listen to you and pre-ordered it and now it is getting delayed. And yet, you are right now convinced of a product that has had multiple delays already and about the timeline of which there is no clear indication.
And btw, on any sain day, I would vouch for a product that works 70% of the time over one that still exists in youtube videos, and anyone who does otherwise, like I said, seems borderline suspicious to me.
A final word: if anyone from Echovision Agiga is reading this, please understand that I have nothing against you guys. Like I said, I really hope that your glasses are able to deliver what has been promissed. I am following your product from the start, and am interested in them as I have been in any other product with the potential to solve the problems of the community. I am here just trying to address the biased way in which certain arguments have been put forth. So please don't take offence on that account.

Agiga was yesterday present on the Double Tap show and demonstrated the Echo Vision smart glasses.
Don't know it's just me, but comparing it with earlier demos, for Ex on Carrys show last year, they sounded muchsmoother, the latency was much much lesser than before and the new Live-AI feature was also very impressive.

I hope sometime or later in the near future. be my eyes can have the live AI mode and then we can share the computer screen and let it d describe the pictures, video or read out the video ingame menu

It delights me a lot, that you are finally receiveing your glasses.
From that what I saw, the delays weren't beeing without a reason, and if the impressions from the last Double Tap episode matches with reality, then it'll become very useful.
It'll have definitely it's own little issues, but so desasterous like another brand, which I don't want to name here, will it never be for sure!
I'm excited for your first impressions. Goodluck and hopefully glasses will arrive in Europe very soon!

Last week I attended at CSUN event held in Anaheim California.
I took the time to visit AGIGA booth and I will try to be very positive in my comments much to everyone's surprise: the Glasses prototype AGIGA team are still showcasing is the pioneer edition.

in what world does anyone think AGIGA team going to produce the final version in just 3 months?
When they don't even have any proper prototype to show yet with the new improvements such as
new camera module, larger battery capacity and better quality material.

Like the subject says, don't even know, that saying exists in real, but I'm very excited how the glasses will perform.
Does the performance in the field match with the presented results? We'll hopefully find out soon.

Disappointing that we likely now won't hear the promised demo, as it appears that Ash and their posts have left this site😞

Was seriously looking forward for a real life demonstration of these glasses, especially with the proactive live AI and all.

That they will still do their demo, and just put it up on something like YouTube.

Like others, I was really looking forward to a demo of these glasses. I can't help wondering if the user in question ended up being disappointed in these glasses after receiving them. Of course, I have nothing what-so-ever to base that theory on, but it's a possibility to consider, I suppose.

It's as good a theory as any. 🙂

when will these glasses be available? seems dodgy that a poor product was shipped, to be taken down whilst they work on things they've had more time before shipping even the first batch to get it right, something just seems off.

Ash Rein's disappearance has nothing to do with the glasses - it all played out in one of the other threads, possibly the Mac Neo thread. Anyway it was to do with cats although those posts will probably not be there any more. Anyway hopefully someone else will get theirs and we will get a nice review.

Regarding the delays, they were on Double Tap talking about this recently - my memory is a bit fuzzy these days but I think they had the opportunity to upgrade the battery significantly without affecting cost and decided it was worth switching at the last minute. Don't quote me though.

I think it's better to release a product late than broken. They may also have had one eye on what happened with the Envision Ally glasses and thought that this has to be right at launch. OK I always give these companies the benefit of the doubt but hopefully this will turn out well.

I don't think Envision is looking too good right now. Let's hope the developers of these glasses won't go that same route.

I have been a Pioneer user since December, but haven't had the time to put a review together. They are still actively taking feedback and I know several other users who pre-ordered have recently recieved theirs'. Hopefully someone will write one soon, though at this point, it wouldn't reflect the final version of the product.

Let's just say I'm not a happy camper at all. Now that Ally is available on the Meta glasses, or will be soon, I keep asking myself why I fell for the hype and bought the Ally Solos glasses. I'm actually selling mine to a sighted co-worker who only wants them for their ability to serve as headphones. I'm only charging him $150 for them because the build quality is questionabl e at best. I'm not a fan of the arms being detachable since getting them to connect properly after charging is very fiddly. At this point, I'm of the opinion that getting some money back is better than feeling as though I wasted $400. My smart glasses journey has been quite the fiasco, but I've got a pair of gen2 Meta Ray-bans now, and they meet my needs just fine. Ally scans documents with them, and it actually works a lot better than it did with the Ally Solos glasses. I'm still very interested in hearing demos of the Agiga glasses, but honestly have no plans to buy them at this time.

I don't think the final release glasses will be ready for June, Remember they promise to be ready in the 2nd quarter.
I also heard AGIGA team mention on the doble tap podcast to release in July which means already 3rd quarter

Remember how Glide was supposed to be released last September? I'm so thankful I was able to cancel my preorder for that. I have a friend who is getting one, so whenever he actually receives it, I'll look forward to checking it out. I have similar feelings about these glasses. I'll be excited to read people's thoughts and listen to demos, but at this point, I'm satisified with my Meta Ray-bans gen 2. Plus, I've already wasted way more money than I ever wanted to on smart glasses. Hoping for the sake of everyone looking forward to these that they really do end up getting released this year, and that they're everything Agiga promised. I think that was a major, major issue with the Ally Solos glasses. They were announced out of the clear blue, hyped up to sound beyond awesome, and then the actual product didn't live up to the hype, mostly, at least in my opinion, due to some highly questionable design choices. What I 've heard about the Agiga glasses makes me feel optamistic that at the very least, they're going to be a step up from the Ally Solos.
