Apple has today released version 26.3.1 of the iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms, bringing support for the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR announced yesterday, along with other unspecified bug fixes.

As the 26.3.1 updates were not distributed to external testers prior to their release, we do not have any information on whether they contain any accessibility fixes for blind, deaf blind, or low vision users at the time of writing. However, as version 26.4 is on the way and in public testing, we do not expect today's releases to contain any such fixes. If you spot any changes in your own use of these releases, please do let us know by posting a comment below.

Everything looks good here for my iPhone SE third generation as well as my iPhone 15. I realize that this is just a security update, but I just thought I’d report back here to let everybody know that things are stable for me with iOS 26.3.1 and my iPhone SE with Samantha enhanced and my iPhone 15 with Karen premium. I haven’t seen any changes with this update. I hope everybody else is updates are successful for them and that they’ve possibly fixed any bugs you may have been experiencing. I just said before I realized that this is a security update, but hopefully this will work out for everybody.

I’m sorry. I wish there were some changes for you for bugs. Especially with the one that everybody keeps talking about on here with reading notifications. Yeah that’s actually really annoying. I hope that gets fixed really soon.

To this point I do not see it happening within my life time. Long live cats.

Well, I guess we can just hope that things will get better. And yes, cats are amazing.

I wonder if this is related to VoiceOver. Maybe it is the system behaviour for everyone? The delay on the lock screen has always been short according to me.

The bug which voiceover lagged while switching between voices I guess hasn't been fixed, because even though I haven't updated yet, I use IOS 26 and the bug hasn't been fixed yet. I still experience lag while switching between voices.

When Siri reads notification, no issues but when VO it does. Go figure and long live kitties.
