iOS 26 is pretty stable on my iPhone SE third generation as well as my iPhone 15. I didn’t really see that many new features but I do like that. We can reset voiceover settings now. It’s probably been my favorite of the new features that came. I would like to see some more new voices. We didn’t get two new voiceover voices though at least in English India anyway. I am looking forward to iOS 26.4 to see what new features are coming for that.

For me, the focus issue has gotten worse. It's noticeable when I switch between my phone running iOS 26, and my older phone which still has iOS 18. I tend to use the one running 18 just because VO isn't quite as jumpy on Facebook and Safari.

It’s interesting. I have so many different experiences. I guess we all use our phone slightly differently though. Sorry that you’re having so many focusing issues. That’s so annoying. He would VoiceOver does that I actually had more of those. I was like 16 or something that I do now but yeah, I totally remember that.

iOS 26 is one of the worse iOS, so many bugs that I can not tell whyich is worse bugs in a NY city hotel or apple. It is getting worse and it is a major pain. Hope the next will fix bugs that came from iOS 18.3 or higher. Long live cats.

Notifications seem quite erratic - you clear them and then they remain around as a little phantom ghost thing for a bit before moving on to the afterlife. Not disastrous but a tad annoying.

Otherwise not noticed much. As per usual I am not convinced I have used any new features at all. I did try the new braille note-taking thing which I suspect is pretty neat if you are into it, but I'm not sure it's something I will ever use. But (it won't) but if it did lead to some cheaper braille displays in the future because they could palm off the note taking bit onto the phone then it would be a good thing.

I like that in the podcasts app you can choose a playback speed for each show. I like it less that it will revert to 1x speed no matter what if you start to watch a second one in a row.

They corrected the airplay VoiceOver label in the control centre.

The nutrition labels in the app store sound like a good idea. I don't believe anyone is using them and I have never actually checked to see if they are there.

The clipboard history thing for VoiceOver is nice, but why it's a VoiceOver specific feature I don't know. I have never used it though. Might be more useful for me on the Mac to be honest.

Ummm....

I would say it's just very slightly worse than the previous release but not so much that it bothers me.

I am noticing that is worse in iOS 26.3 regarding notification and also VO reading them. iOS 13 was bad for me and I called it unlucky 13 and people here jump all over me because of that. Long live cats.

Mr Grieves,

If you're running macOS Tahoe, you can view your (non-VoiceOver-specific) clipboard history by opening Spotlight and clicking the Clipboard button (or pressing Command-4). Navigate the items with the up and down arrow keys, and press Return on an item to paste it at the position of the insertion point.

Oh I did not know that's a thing. Sounds useful. If Apple can just fix the missing content in Safari bug then maybe I might take the plunge with Tahoe.

Surely Cmd+4 is not a system-wide thing though is it? That shortcut is used in plenty of other apps.

Command-4 to show clipboard history is specific to Spotlight.
