Hi Everybody!
Yesterday, I was happily using my numpad commander number 6, which I programmed for move right/move the VoiceOver cursor right. /that's the key I use most often for going line by line through a document or web page or whatever.
Anyway, it suddenly started making a little dull bell tone, and very unexpected things started happening, such as when I was reading an email and editing it, and the email suddenly vanished. I mean, that email was one I had spent hours working on. I was NOT happy.
Since, the numpad 6 behavior had continued, and I don't know what happened to it to make it that way, or how to return that key to normal function.
Can anyone suggest what to try?
I don't know if it matters, but I've been trying out new bluetooth keyboards lately in an attempt to get a good ergonomic keyboard for my wrist problems.

Could it be a hardware problem?
Other weird things just started happening on my computer, yesterday too, such as new focus jumping in Apple Mail. Now I'm wondering if I should hook my keyboard up with my old laptop and see if either of them still work.
