Hi all,
I made a post a while back about using Google Sheets and whether it was better on a windows or a Mac.
As an avid Mac user, I'm gonna give this a shot and want to spend some time learning before my classes start.
I've installed Google Crome successfully, and now wanted to reach out to the community for any tips you have regarding Google Sheets. Please keep in mind that I'm very very new to this, so very basic tips would be helpful. I hope this is one of those things that's overwhelming at first but I will certainly get the hang of it as I go along.
Thanks for literally any input, it's much appreciated.

Are you familiar with spreadsheets?
I ask because I'm not, and I had a thought.
Somebody did a series of podcasts here about Numbers. That's free. So it would be a bit round about, but if it were me, I might start by checking out those podcasts and playing with Numbers a bit. That way, I wouldn't be figuring out spreadsheets *and* how to use Google's products at the same time, and I'd have somebody walking me through the basics of spreadsheets.
This isn't Sheets, but whatever the word processor is, but it has some more general stuff that might help you figure out Sheets.

Here's a Youtube video, from just two weeks ago, advertising a lesson on Google Sheets with Voiceover on Mac. Please note I have no idea who this person is, I literally just stumbled across this when I was googling for Google's docs on using their stuff with a screen reader.

Here's Google's help specifically on Sheets with a screen reader, but you probably want to hit up the more general links first, which IIRC are in this guide.

thanks so much
Thanks so much for all of this, I really appreciate it.
I'm not very familiar with spread sheets. It's been a long time since I interacted with anything like that.
