Perception Assist 2.2 is out — I’d love to hear how it works for you

Hi everyone,
I’m Yan, the developer of Perception Assist. Some of you shared feedback on earlier versions, and I wanted to let you know that version 2.2 is now available on iPhone.
I’ve been working on Walking Guard. It now gives clearer alerts about nearby objects, repeats itself less, and no longer asks you to choose a mode before starting. I hope that makes it easier to use when you’re out and about.
If you give this version a try, I’d really like to hear what it’s like in everyday use. Are the alerts helpful, or do they still talk too much? Is it easy to start and stop with VoiceOver? If something feels confusing or doesn’t work well, please tell me. I read the feedback and use it to decide what to improve next.
Perception Assist is an extra awareness tool, not a replacement for a cane, guide dog, or your own judgment while travelling.

Would you consider adding Greek language support in a future update?

Hi Evangelos,
Yes! Greek is now available in Perception Assist 2.2.2. You can update the app from the App Store and give it a try.
If you come across anything that doesn’t sound right in Greek, please let me know. I’d be glad to fix it.
Thanks for asking!
