Hey everyone, I want to share an iPhone mobile web accessible game I just started building on Lovable. The game is currently set up and building, and the core gameplay involves throwing snowballs at regular penguins and powerful Penguin Bosses to collect Diamonds.
> Important: Headphones are required to hear the 3D directional audio and spatial effects correctly.

Technical Note for Updates
Since this is a mobile web game built on Lovable and not a native app, you must refresh your screen in Safari to see new updates when I push them out. A "What's New" pop-up will appear immediately after a refresh to highlight the latest changes.
Early Features & Arcade Games
* Arcade Selection: I am currently building Penguin Pop and Diamond Dash. Please note these are unlockable features as you progress.
* Reward Systems: Includes a Scratch Card, Lucky Wheel, and Arctic Slots.
* Achievements: A dedicated section to track your milestones and progress.
* Daily Streaks: Log in every day to maintain your streak, collect rewards, and receive a free spin.
* Atmosphere: Features a peaceful theme with ambient noises, 3D audio cues, and haptic feedback.
Game Modes
* Standard: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Endless.
* Premium Modes: I am building specialized challenges including Boss Rush, Speed Blitz, Zen Mode, and Daily Challenges.
* Note: Within these Premium Modes, higher difficulty levels may also need to be unlocked through gameplay.
Accessibility & VoiceOver
To ensure a high-performance, lag-free experience, the game uses a custom built-in narrator. The game will prompt you to toggle VoiceOver OFF for the following:
* All Game Modes (Standard & Premium)
* Arcade Games (Penguin Pop & Diamond Dash)
* Shop, Slots, Scratch Card, & Lucky Wheel
* Achievements
Note: The Settings menu, the how to play and Ambient noise selection, What's New log, and Send Feedback form fully support VoiceOver and do not require it to be turned off. Here is the direct link to my new iPhone mobile web accessible game. I would love to know your guys’s thoughts I’m currently looking for feedback to my new iPhone mobile web accessible game you can submit your feedback in settings where the feedback form is located. https://penguin-splat-chatter.lovable.app/

A brief review
This is an interesting game and a pretty fun concept. After all, who wouldn't want to spend a day tossing snowballs at penguins? 🐧
Sadly, I likely would have better luck hitting a real life penguin with a real life snowball. While the concept of this game is fun, the controls leave something to be desired. The gestures for navigating are not difficult to perform, but there were several times when the game simply could not register the gesture I was doing. Swipes, for example, I had to slow drag my finger completely across the screen for the swipe to even register. Taps worked, but not always in the area where I actually was tapping. This was most noticeable in game menus, but was also prevalent in the gameplay itself. For example, on the first level of the primary game, at one point a penguin appeared on the left side of the screen, however when I tapped that spot, it was like I hit the middle or right side of the screen, as if I completely missed the penguin.
While in game menus, the swipe gestures were not always moving to the very next item, but rather several items over. The settings menu for example I would go from the first item, to the second item, to the fifth item, to the ninth item, just by simply swiping left or right. Thankfully, voiceover can be used in the menus, which makes navigating them much better.
If this is working as intended, then my apologies.
As for the ingame gestures, if you can somehow tighten up the controls, so they are a bit more precise, I think this game will be an instant hit.
One more thing, in the settings screen we have an option for ambient music/sounds, but for some reason I did not hear any music or sound effects either in the game menus, or the gameplay itself. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that.
Overall, I think this game has a whole lot of potential, the controls just need to be tightened up a little.
Thanks for reading. 😎

thank you for your feedback
thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it a lot, and yes, I’m aware of those issues, and I will address them as soon as I can, I’m glad though that you’re enjoying the game overall. Thanks again for your feedback.
penguin
Poor penguins, they need a lawyer. Long live cats and penguins.
Terrific game
This is a terrific game with a lot of potential. I really like the daily rewards, the minigames and the daily calendar challenge. However, I have earned enough diamonds to unlock Penguin Pop but am unable to do so. In the settings screen, when attempting to select Penguin Pop, I am instructed to start the game first before unlocking it.
Do you think this will become a standalone app in the future, or will you keep it as a web-based game? Just curious.
that’s a great question
thank you, I really appreciate it in regards to you being able to unlock one of the arcade games that you just unlocked that is a bug and I will address that. What is it saying exactly when you are trying to unlock it because I have addressed it before, but the bug has came back, obviously, and that’s a great question. I think I’m gonna keep it as it is now I don’t think I see it turning into an app, but maybe in the future.
Penguin Pop
I was able to unlock both Penguin Pop and Diamond Dash a few minutes ago. However, I am experiencing a problem where i am sometimes thrown out of the game when tapping the bottom half of the screen. Is anyone else experiencing this?
what is happening exactly
What is happening exactly so I can pin point this?
update to my new iPhone mobile web accessible game
I just wanted to inform those that have been playing my game or have tried it out that I have revamped the game if you haven’t noticed with the what’s new release so it looks completely different from what I originally started with, so let me know your thoughts on this direction.
Looking for new arcade game ideas
I’m looking for new arcade game ideas, I currentlly have 3 arcade games, penguin pop, diamond dash, and diamond catcher, I’m looking for more though to add to the new arcade menu, if there is a arcade game that you guys would like for me to add to the collection please let me know, my goal is to add at least 1 or 2 new arcade games then and there to keep the game fresh and enjoyable for people so they have a selection to Choose from, I would like to keep it in the penguin type theme sense my game is called penguin blaster.
Space game.
I recall when I could see there was one, where you move your spaceship left and right and shoot the spaceships coming down to you. I think it was call space something. It was cool. LLC
Holger
That would be "Space Invaders".
Emily, you could totally do this with your current game setup. The aliens in Space Invaders or in a grid, I don't remember the exact number count but I'm sure you can Google it. Something like 12 x 10, for example. They simply moved left or right in sync with each other and as they moved from one side of the screen to the other they would drop a few pixels, then move back over to the opposite side, drop a few pixels, rinse and repeat. your ship only move left and right, and you had a button to fire. All you had to do was shoot and destroy every alien in order to complete a level. So, you can make the aliens the Penguins, and the little ship moving back-and-forth could be something like a snowball launcher.
Just a thought. 🤷
Brian
Yes, If I recall the ships came down from the top of the screen in roles and colums. They drop boms and they shoot mistles to you so you need it to avoid them and same time destroy the ships and not let them pass. It was simple but cool and the sounds effects were cool. LLC.
Holger
Oh yeah! Space Invaders is a timeless classic. I know they tried to make a few audio versions of it on various platforms. I think there might be one on iOS as well. Windows definitely has one, maybe macOS too. 🤷
That’s a great idea
Great idea, I’m currently working on it right now. The game is called Penguin invaders. I would love to know your feedback on it and ways I can improve it if needed.
Nice
Is if not 3 d hearing sounds cool, issues with hearing. If is like Space invader's be cool. Let me know. Thanks.
The new arcade game is called Penguin invaders
yes, I just built it right now. You do have to unlock it, but it is a new arcade game now. Let me know your thoughts, though things I can do to improve it.

Updated review
This is the first time I have attempted to play Penguin Blaster, since my initial review above. The gameplay mechanics have improved quite a bit, with more precise touch gesture accuracy. I was actually able to play through a couple of levels of the primary game successfully. I also unlocked one of the arcade games, Penguin Invaders.
Penguin Invaders is interesting and fun, but I do have one tiny complaint. There seems to be a glitch during gameplay. A few times while I was playing, I would somehow find myself in the settings menu, completely throwing me out of the Invaders game interface. I am not sure if there is a gesture to jump to settings that I am activating by mistake, or if it is an actual bug, but I wanted to make you aware.
The primary game is fun as hell, and my only real complaint on that would be to please, please increase the volume of sound effects. I had to almost max out my poor iPhone's volume in order to really be able to hear the sound effects. I do not use Bluetooth anything for this, I use the standard OEM Apple EarPods, the ones that used to come with earlier iPhones.
The shop, from within the settings menu, is fascinating. I purchased, and enjoyed a number of the options that were available for me. Enhancing gameplay further.
All in all, you have created something quite unique, and incredibly entertaining. Other than my Remarks above, I really don't have any complaints at this time.
Thank you for sharing such a fun and unique game with us. 😁🎮

not working on pc/ mac yet?
well,
it seems doesn't work on pc/ mac yet.
for me I am using windows pc nad use NVDA for screen reader.
and for gaming, we always turn of brows mode. then press up arrow and down arrow to netvigate the menu and press enter to activate.
in game.
press up,down , left , right arrows to shoot .
Thank you both for your comments
Oh, I will dress that with regards to the windows or PC not working yet and thank you. I’m glad that I seem to address the things that you mentioned to me a while ago I think that was you anyways, but yes, I didn’t actually address the sound effects issue, but I can do it again. There is an accessibility settings inside the settings. Does that not do it at all?
Ming
Check out the add-on store within NVDA, for an add-on called Game Mode.
It might help. 🙂
I haven't tried Penguin Blaster on my PC laptop yet, but I will give that a go, and report back here. 👌
I addressed two issues
I addressed two of your issues Brian, let me know if I actually did address them, though, and I am gonna address the windows and Mac not working at all, there is a what’s new splashing so you’ll see what is new so you’ll be updated

I’m glad that it’s better
That’s awesome, thanks for the screenshot. I’m glad I was able to address your issues, let me know if you come across something else and I think I’m gonna stick with my mobile web accessible game game just being iPhone only I came across some issues trying to get it as a desktop app maybe later on I’ll have a better chance at successfully being able to turn it into a desktop game.
I've been rocking the mini games like crazy
Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely enjoying the main game, and the arcade games. The mini games, however, are just fun. Especially Penguin 21, as I've always liked blackjack.
Will you be adding any other arcade and/or mini games to Penguin Blaster?
A question
I have been playing the game for a few days now and love it. However, I have noticed that my level progress has reset back to level 1 for each day. Is this intentional?
Sign up or sign in
I could be wrong, but I think you have to have a Lovable.dev account in order for it to keep your statistics, etc. when you first open the game, if you look at the very bottom there will be a link labeled, "edit with lovable", or something to that effect. Double tap on it, and it will take you to the page where you can sign in or sign up.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I’ll address this
I’ll address this David so it doesn’t do that, and I’m not sure about that Brian.
Emily
Question, Are you planning to make the games into apps? LLC.
Addressed progress resetting
I addressed this but you do have to log in or sign up for your progress to save, your diamonds and streaks and achievements will be saved as well, I hope this helps and let me know if there is any way I can improve this.
Regards to your question Brian
I will be adding new arcade games and mini games yes, but I’m
Wanting peoples ideas for new arcade games and mini games, I did mention that in a previous comment I made, so if you have any suggestions on either a new arcade games or mini games let me know and I’ll be more then happy to add them.
Frogie
Brian could help me remember. There was a game in which a frogs were trying to cross a road and avoid getting squash. It was a cool game. LLC.
What about this idea
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that game before, but what about since my game is based off penguins. I can make it so it’s penguins instead would you know what the game is actually called?
New arcade game
Not sure if you’re referring to Frogger, but I just created a new arcade game. It’s called penguin crossing, not sure if this is what you’re meaning exactly, it’s the same type of gameplay, though I believe, let me know if if this is the game that you’re referring to, and ways I can improve it.
Yes, Frogger was the game
Frogger, like Space Invaders, classic Atari for the win.
Re: Signing in
Emily,
Was I right about signing up for a lovable.dev account? Or is there another way to sign into this game? I signed up for a lovable dev account and so far I've been able to keep my records.
I have something like 23,144 diamonds, currently at level 21 and my title is called, "Ice Ascendant".
I may or may not have played Penguin Blaster too much. 😅
Yes
That was the one! It was cool, what about PacMan? Can it be made accessible? LLC.
Holger, Re: Pac-Man
If I recall, there is an audio version of Pac-Man on audio games .net.
I have never played it, so I cannot tell you if it is fun or not.
interesting concept
Yes, I played that when I had sight, that’s more of a really fast pace game so I’m not sure how that would work, but I am willing to give it a shot if you would like me to add that to the collection of my arcade games.
Navigating a maze
Absolutely possible. However, I think the most challenging part of this will be trying to establish what type of audio Q to use for letting the player know which directions are available to them as they navigate through the maze. You could have speech, but that might become a little verbose and headache inducing. You can use beeps or clicks.
I suppose you could do letters, or numbers. Like, in, W, E, S, announced as you are approaching an available path in any of the four cardinal directions, or replaced with clock face, 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock.
If you decide to make this, you'll have to play around with different options, and decide what you feel is best. Remember though, Pac-Man is very fast pace, especially in the later levels. So you don't want something to verbose, otherwise people may not be interested for very long.
Just my two cents. 🤷
Sidenote, Emily you didn't answer my question about the sign in process. 🙂
Brian
Good point, I am sure Emily would look into it. Perhaps haptics and sounds? LLC.
Pengo?
How about adding Pengo since that was already a penguin-themed arcade game. I love penguins, so definitely need to check this out. Maybe I missed it, but is this ever going to be made into an actual app? In general, apps work better for me than things that are browser based.
