Edge Born is a story-rich tactical RPG where you play as Queen Moremi, a ruler fighting an invasion threatening to erase her ancestral clan from history. It is a game about decisions as much as it is about combat. Every choice you make steers you toward one of multiple endings.
When the story demands action, you step directly into the world, navigating through a living forest environment, following your Spirit Guide to each destination, and engaging enemies in real-time directional combat. Manage your weapons carefully, spend your Soul Gems wisely, and decide what kind of ruler you will become.

A few things worth knowing before you play
There are multiple endings - You can always restart and make different choices after your first playthrough
Weapon health directly affects damage output, so keep an eye on your repairs
The Help section in the main menu covers all controls and mechanics in detail, worth a read before your first session
The Spirit Guide is your lead to your next destination

Update - v 1.1
This update brings significant improvements to controls, combat, and accessibility across the board.
It includes fixes to storyline saving, story load resumption, and a bug where the story continued incorrectly after defeat.
The Spirit Guide now turns back at a greater distance to reduce navigation confusion. Combat gains perfect defense timing and a revenge mechanic that rewards countering immediately after taking a hit. Weapon purchase and one-shot issues in the Workshop have been resolved.
Footsteps are more audible during exploration, health announcements now include enemy health, and several accessibility and UI improvements have been made for screen reader users.
And general gameplay improvements.
