Has anyone else had this issue with using their braille display on iOS? I thought it was just a bug with Ulysses but Iβve also experienced it in ghostWriter too. And once or twice while writing this, though it seems to act up more in those two apps. It could be a coincidence, though.
Sometimes [not every time, but it always seems to happen when I least expect it], when using the cursor as buttons above the cells, instead of moving where I want it to go, my cursor will instead jump to a spot in the text that is very far away from where I needed it to be. While I can still use the rotor to get the cursor where I need it, istβs a highly frustrating and inconvenient thing to deal with.
I am using a Mantis Q40 display with an iPhone 16e running iOS version 26.4.2.

Noticing this too
I'm noticing this here too. iOS 27 with a Focus 40 Blue 5. Really wish it would get sorted. It happened at least 5 times tonight in the mail app writing an important email. Not amusing.
Working fine
I use an iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 27.0.1 and everything works fine with my Focus 40 5th gen. With iOS 26, I've had the same issue but it got fixed for me with the iOS 27 update. The routing buttons reliably move the cursor to the desired position.
With iOS 27, big text fields with large text blocks (e.g. Notes) were unusable because of this issue when editing text. Now, it's finally working again for me.
