Hi,
I'm curious as to whether any of you have ever used the iClever bk-06 mate multi-device keyboard with your mac? If so, what's the spacing of the VO keys? Are control and option next to one another, or are they spaced with the standard windows layout, that when used on a mac, command and option are flip-flopped? Also, if anyone has used this keyboard, what are your thoughts in general? Do you like it?
I'll put a link to it at the bottom of the post, as iClever makes several bluetooth keyboards.
Hi. I want to get a braille pen slim to use with my iPod and iPhone. It is a small braille keyboard with no braille display so you can type text and control the device from it and still here VoiceOver from the device to know what you are doing because there is no display. Does anyone know if the key commands would be the same on the braille pen as they are on the BrailleNote Apex? Also, does anyone know if there are any podcasts on using the braille pen slim with iDevices and if there is, where would I find them? How about the manual for the braille pen slim? Where would I find that?
Hello, everyone: I understand that several accessories exist that allow for external storage on iOS devices. I would like to learn more about such accessories. One of them is the iFlashDrive, manufactured by PhotoFast, and its accompanying app. Reviews of this and other external storage accessories would be very much welcome on this site. Many thanks. Regards, DM
I am looking to update as I only have an ipad mini 2 as I purchased this shortly after loosing my eyesight as a test run of voiceover. I will not go back to Jaws(which i used only in demo)
I now want to upgrade and am debating between an iMac, Macbook or even just an ipad with larger memory. We need a household computer in the house for my middle schooler as well. So I have a few questions.
1. Is Mac OS similar to iOs?
Hi all, I just recieved my imount apple blutooth case with slide out keyboard. I am wanting to be able to activate icons on the iphone with just using the keyboard. I want to use the keyboard instaid of double tapping the screen of the phone to activate everything. If anyone can get back to me I would greatly appreciate it.
What is the best Mac Book Pro hardware configuration to run iMovies on?
My wife employs a 2012 Mac Book Pro, 16GB Ram and 2012 Mac Book Pro CPU/GPU (don't know specs) to produce 40 minutes YouTube videos, with iMovie. Present average edit/process time is perfectly acceptable, under 10 minutes.
Her laptop display broke and it will cost 800β¬ to fix so I am considering a new Mac Book Pro. I am seeking advice as to where (which hardware) to invest. GPU? CPU? RAM?
hi all, well, the day is finally here, the day we can all get our hands on the new apple iPhones in stores. I got mine this morning at t-mobile, and have had a few hours to play with it. In short, I love the faster processor, apps seem to load much faster then before, gps is much more stable then on the previous phone, the sound quality of voiceover and siri is much improved through the two speakers, so you don't have to raise your volume passed seventy percent to hear something.
Hello to all. I'm looking for a scanner, just a scanner but with software that will do the following
Scan a document and convert it into pdf
2 scan a document and convert into n image pdf if necessary.
Ability to save the pdf to my hard drive or iCloud or where ever.
Of corse the software and scanner have to be about 90 percent accessible with mac and window. I should add this cannot be a printer scanner thing. I already have one but I can't carry it everyware, it's heavy. Lol!
There is a lot of vogue nowadays for Bluetooth and wireless. There is no doubt that when they work the connection appears almost magical and neat with no trailing wires or bulk. The operative word though is when they work.
It may be that I am unlucky but I have a chequered history with both wireless and Bluetooth devices and they have never enjoyed long term success with me.

Forgive me of this is slightly OT, but I donβt have many places I know of to post this inquiry.
I am in the market for new headphones with a view specifically to using them with my iPhone.
Here are the specs that Iβm looking for:
1) NO NOISE CANCELLATION!: I want to be able to hear clearly what is around me at the same time Iβm listening through them.
2) They CANNOT be in-ear ear buds!: I have never once been able to find ear-buds that fit my ears properly! Even if I did, since they are in-ear, they would surely block out sound around me!
My Bluez arrived today, and so far I am incredibly disappointed by them!
Sound leakage is so bad that anybody within 20 feet is going to know exactly what you are listening to.
Hello, I am not able to access my incripted backup for my iPhone 6 as I don't know the password. I have tried every single password I use. the only option I can see is to backup through the iCloud athen restore the phone as a new device and reinstall the backup from iCloud. has anyone done this? Also I notice CNet has a download for cracking the password. has anyone used this software and which one is accessible?
Hi all. As some of you know by now I finally got that first iPhone for which I had been patiently waiting since a little before Christmas. Well on Saturday morning, the day before Easter, my father asked me during breakfast if I wanted to go to one of the AT&T stores in our area to look at iPhones. I agreed to do this, so we finished breakfast and I got my things together, and he got his things together. Then we drove to the store and were immediately greeted by a friendly employee. We told him exactly what we were after, so he motioned for us to come with him and take a look.
hi all has anyone else noted that when typing on the qwerty keyboard the airpods shout each letter out and other voiceover prompts, are of a normal volume? also, for the price, i would have expected the airpods to know which device they are connected to between my iphone and ipad, without me having to tell it each time. i really enjoy the freedom of these though just seem like small niggles. i use ios 10 on my iphone, and ios 11 on the ipad mini 4.
